RydeAide Terms of Service (Pilot)
Effective Date: December 2025

  • Acceptance of Terms By accessing the RydeAide website, mobile application, or utilizing our transportation services, you ("User," "You") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

  • Nature of Services RydeAide provides non-emergency medical transportation and chaperone assistance ("Door-through-Door" service). 1.) Non-Medical: Our Chaperones are CPR/First Aid certified but are not licensed medical professionals. We do not administer medication or provide medical care. 2.) Emergency Situations: In the event of a medical emergency during transport, the Chaperone is instructed to pull over safely and contact emergency services (911) immediately.

  • Booking and Scheduling

  • 1.) Advance Notice: We recommend booking rides at least 24 hours in advance to guarantee availability.

  • 2.) Wait & Return: If you require a Chaperone to stay during an appointment, this must be requested at the time of booking.

  • 3.) Delays: While we strive for punctuality, RydeAide is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen vehicle issues.

  • Cancellations and Refunds

  • 1.) Cancellation Window: You may cancel a ride up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time for a full refund.

  • 2.) Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup will be charged a fee of $50.

  • 3.) No-Show: If the Chaperone arrives and the rider is not present or refuses transport, the full cost of the ride will be charged.

  • Rider Conduct and Safety

  • 1.) Behavior: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior towards our Chaperones. We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual who poses a safety risk.

  • 2.) Fit for Transport: The rider must be medically stable for transport. If a Chaperone believes a rider requires an ambulance, service will be declined, and EMS will be contacted.

  • Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, RydeAide shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use of our services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to RydeAide for the service in question.
