
RydeAide Terms of Service (Pilot)
Effective Date: September 2025
By using RydeAide services, you (“Client,” “Facility,” “Family,” or “Mobile Companion Aide”) agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Nature of Services
• RydeAide provides Mobile Companion Aides (MCAs) who accompany individuals to and from appointments or outings.
• RydeAide does not provide transportation or licensed medical care.
• Aides are independent contractors (1099).
2. Payments
• Families/facilities agree to pay fees as described at booking.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Subscription or service fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
3. Responsibilities of Clients
• Provide accurate appointment details at time of request.
• Arrange transportation (rideshare, NEMT, or private vehicle).
• Ensure safe pickup and drop-off locations.
4. Responsibilities of MCAs
• Provide compassionate, attentive support during appointments or outings.
• Follow training guidelines and report issues promptly.
• Submit service summaries after each trip.
5. Limitations of Liability
• RydeAide is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or issues caused by third-party transportation providers.
• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services rendered.
• Clients and MCAs are expected to carry their own insurance as applicable.
6. Termination
• RydeAide reserves the right to remove any MCA or decline service to any client for safety, compliance, or payment concerns.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
